Peace and quiet for caravanners with teenagers
Article Published On 1 June 2007
As children grow older they need more of their own space and so might not react favourably with the suggestion that they will have to spend two weeks in the summer cooped up with their parents in a caravan.
However, Keycamp - a company which operates a number of caravan sites in Europe - has come up with the perfect solution to please both parents and teens.
The new 'free space' initiative will mean that the teenaged children of caravanners staying at any site in France, Italy or Spain will be able to enjoy their own tent free of charge. They'll also be able to bring any friends they want along to keep them company.
As well as giving the kids some freedom, the scheme will allow parents to enjoy their caravan break far more. With each Keycamp featuring top-class facilities - like pools and outdoor activity centres - both parents and teenagers are sure to find plenty to entertain them on their caravanning holiday.
A recent report from Eurocamp suggested that more and more people were booking caravanning holidays in continental Europe this summer.
