Kids turn caravans into drinking dens

According to the East London and West Essex Guardian, a number of caravans around Ongar are suspected to have been broken into and used as "drinking dens" by the local kids.
The paper reports that two caravan owners in Coopers Hill were shocked when they opened their caravans and found evidence that people had been drinking alcohol and smoking inside.
In one instance, the floor of the caravan was left covered in vodka.
Crime reduction officer Tony Ellis told the publication: "It looks like youngsters are using these caravans for drinking dens. People should lock their caravans up."
Earlier this year, a company launched a new security device specifically designed to improve the security of caravans.
The SmartWater Tracer liquid allows caravan owners to subtly mark their property so it can be easily identified if stolen.
