France 'proves popular with summer caravanners'

Eurocamp has reported that bookings for the summer months are up for its camp and caravan sites in Brittany and the Pyrenees as Brits plan on heading to the continent for their caravanning vacation.
Similarly, the company claims that Brittany Ferries has reported increased interest as people return to traditional holidays in an effort to reduce their carbon footprint.
"France is booming this season, especially key regions like Brittany and the Pyrenees," explained Deborah Beckett, the managing director of Eurocamp.
"Families are thinking much more carefully about the impact they have on the environment and the potential stress involved from travelling to their holiday destination and this could be one of the factors influencing their return to France."
However, Co-Operative Insurance (CIS) recently said it was vital for people to make sure their caravan was adequately insured before setting off on a summer vacation to the continent.
