Kent 'is popular with caravanners'

The Kent News reports that experts believe the county's roads could be inundated by caravans travelling to local beauty spots, such as the Downs and Weald.
Festivals, such as Lounge on the Farm and Broadstairs Folk Week are also expected to attract a sizable caravan crew to the south-east county during the summer months.
Kent Tourism Alliance's chief executive, Sandra Matthews Marsh, told the paper: "We are entering an era of changing travel priorities.
"It really is no surprise UK holidaymakers are instead opting for the freedom and ease of caravanning.
"In Kent we already welcome hundreds of caravan holiday-makers every year. There are more than 70 holiday parks and caravan sites throughout the county all offering great locations and facilities."
Ms Matthews Marsh added that Kent offers a lot to caravanners, who enjoy the county's "amazing choice of attractions, beautiful countryside and coastline".
The Caravan Club claims to represent the interests of nearly 900,000 caravanners in the UK - showing how popular a pastime it has become.
