Welsh caravan park wins magazine award

Plassey Leisure Park - which is near Eyton in Wrexham - was originally a dairy farm, but became a holiday destination for caravanners in the 1970s.
The site boasts a number of attractions which helped it take the prize, including a 9-hole golf course, a restaurant, coffee shop and garden centre, as well as its own real ale brewery.
Especially popular among the caravanners who visit the site is the craft centre, which features the work of approximately 25 local artisans.
"It was my mother's and father's vision. Mother was the one who came up with suggestions about doing certain things, like the craft centre building and turning the milking parlour into a restaurant," current owner John Brookshaw told the BBC.
"Dad was the brawn behind it and did the work. Between the two of them, they developed it into what it is now."
The editor of Practical Caravan Magazine, David Motton, praised the site, telling the BBC that it was "more akin to a small village than a caravan site".
