National caravan rally approaches
Article Published On 28 March 2007
The National Rally is set to take place over the late spring bank holiday and has in the past attracted 3,000 outfits and up to 10,000 eager caravanners.
This year the event will take place in the beautiful grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire. As this is the Caravan Club's centenary year, the organisers are promising that the event will be something very special.
Activities at the rally include everything from individual baking and wine making competitions to team contests like the famous 'Top Centre quiz'.
In the evenings, entertainment will be provided at two separate venues, the Club and the Frizzell Marquees. On the Friday night, an informal event - such as the Club's famous Line Dance Evening - offers people the chance to meet friends and fellow caravan enthusiasts.
The event is sponsored by several big names in the caravan world, including Green Flag and Witter towbars.
