Bourne Leisure has bought up the 200-acre Far Grange Park in Skipsea from owner and founder Mike McCann for an undisclosed fee, reports the Yorkshire Post.
The Yorkshire holiday park, which was established in 1970, has 850 holiday homes, an indoor swimming pool, 18 hole golf course, fishing lake, shooting range and gym complete with sauna and steam room and is set to be incorporated in to the Haven and British Holidays brochure.
Jane Bentall, a Bourne Leisure director, remarked: "Far Grange Park is a superb holiday park and has been run with great skill by Mike McCann and his family for more than 30 years.
"It will be a great asset to Haven and British Holidays' existing portfolio of 34 holiday parks around the UK, sitting very comfortably with our policy of offering customers a high quality product that will meet or exceed their expectations."
The purchase of the site, which is based between Hornsea and Bridlington on the Yorkshire coast, is the first major acquisition by Bourne since it bought up Rank Holidays for £675 million in October 2000.
