Lakes caravan park holds wildlife contest

The park has a wide and diverse range of wildlife including red foxes, red deer and red squirrels, reports Lakeland Radio. Red squirrels were steadily replaced in the UK by the Canadian grey variety.
Children will be competing among one another to capture the best photo of some of the park's most attractive wildlife.
The contest has been dubbed a 'Digital Safari' and organisers are hoping all the entries will shed light on the animals' behavioural patterns around the 130-acre site.
World famous bearded botanist David Bellamy said the park was "an exciting wildlife wonderland which is brimming with bio-diversity".
The park, which is run by the Wild family, focuses on developing sustainable tourism and has won the Lake District Park Conservation Award and an England for Excellence Award for Sustainable Tourism.
