Arty caravan travels the country

Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale have spent the last six years touring the UK in their caravan, painting the scenes and the characters that they have encountered along the way.
Now, the two artists have returned to their hometown of Portsmouth to showcase their work in the Caravan Gallery.
Jan Williams told the Portsmouth News: "We have travelled from Land's End to Scotland's Wee County, scouring the streets from dawn to dusk.
"We sample local delights, explore the undiscovered areas even the locals don't know about, and enjoy random sightings and chance encounters which are often better than the well-publicised landmarks."
The pair's caravan and its colour prints will reside at the Aspex Gallery in Gunwharf Quays until February, with patio tables and chairs as well as garden gnomes surrounding the vehicle to give the setting an authentic air.
