There are also other options to such as Spain, Denmark and Sweden as well.
Ferry prices can be a significant part of your holiday costs. You can get online price quotes from most of the ferry companies now so where there is more than one company operating the route you need to take it may pay to get multiple quotes to compare the ferry prices.
To take advantage of cheap ferry fares, book your crossing at a quieter time and as soon as possible.
